Food Friday: Yakisoba

I am a big fan of noodles particularly pancit canton and yakisoba. I love both! I make sure I have some instant noodles on hand so when I feel like having one, I can easily prepare it and indulge ;)

Mr. Bean's Ability

Ability is when you can make three generations of people laugh their socks off without uttering a single word.

And that ability rests on Rowan Atkinson... also known as Mr. Bean to his legions of fans. Can you imagine how effective his comedy is? My dad who is in his 50's, my little girl who is 6 years old, and every one at home in between would laugh like there's no tomorrow whenever we watch an episode of Mr. Bean! That's how funny he is!

I like that Mr. Atkinson protects his family by separating his personal life from his career. He doesn't grant interviews about his family and as much as he can, he actually avoids interviews of any kind.

Way to go, Mr. Bean! Keep on making us laugh!

New Angry Birds Tumbler

My sister's boyfriend gave the little girl a new Angry Birds tumbler. It's actually very useful as she brings it to school with her. Cute no?

Emma off to Oxford University

Emma Watson, otherwise known as Hermione Granger to Harry Potter fans like you and me, is off to complete a term at the prestigious Oxford University. She remains enrolled in Brown University in the US but will only go back to the Ivy League school next year to complete her studies.

Meanwhile she is temporarily saying goodbye to fans while she is busy with uni. She wrapped up work for My Week With Marilyn, due out later this year, and The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. Anyway, here's what she has to say about her temporary goodbye to the limelight...

Food Friday: Chocolate Cake

The little girl turned 6 so naturally we bought her a chocolate cake on her special day ;)

She chose a round cake and she told my sister to put a dedication on it. She also said she wanted a candle to go with her cake. Hahaha!

So hey...!

I have come up with a concrete plan as to how I can execute what I previously posted on the steps I will take to improve this blog's ranking.

I will be posting a week's worth of blog entries already!

And this is how it's going to be...

I promised myself that I will religiously post DAILY for one month. I will join memes for 4 weeks. But I am not a machine so there should be specific topics so I would know what to dish out, right?

For week 1 (Oct 21 to 27), I thought I'd write about celebrities. Positive things about a select few that I like. For the memes, I don't think I have something about celebrities for personal photos so I will try to come up with something.

For week 2 (Oct 28 to Nov 3), I thought I'd write about friendship. I will write about friends back in grade school, high school, college. And friends I made at work.

For week 3 and 4 I still have to think about but there you have it! I already have two weeks worth of topics to write about!

Yey!!!

On to writing!

What else do I have to do?!?

I regularly update this blog. I am keeping with the sporadic thoughts theme that I came up with. I join memes when I can. I cleaned up the blog a bit: archives, categories/labels, template.

That's why I am up against a blank wall as to how the rank's not doing any better!!!

Why the F not?!?

Maybe I should buy a domain already? But this blog is kinda special to me. Sentimental reasons, you know. I started seriously blogging via this blog of mine.

I will try joining memes for 4 straight weeks. I will update daily for a month. I will make sure I have at least a comment per post I make, even with the paid ones.

Let's see if that will bring the Alexa rank back up and the elusive PR green once again.

Night spent laughing about silly things

My sisters and I spent last night talking about so many silly things we could think of. We begun our silly discussion with talks about radio DJs and ended up laughing about the overly loud woman radio disc jockey that every one likes. We then talked about how ignorant we were when we were younger and so many topics that spanned years!

I love spending nights like that. We were already on our beds, trying to sleep, but end up talking about one topic after another. It's bonding time for me and my sisters, time that we didn't plan. Spontaneous and just full of fun!

It doesn't happen as often as it did in the past. I am happy we made time last night ;)
